Game Summary: The Games is set in the Hunger Games universe, immediately after the first book and before the events of the second and third. The basic idea is that the Capitol realized that Katniss and Peeta's actions were causing a rebellion and that if they continued to kill the children of the Districts they'd have a full-blown war on their hands and it would be more trouble than they wanted to deal with. So they used some of their amazing Capitol technology to bring in new tributes from times and universes outside of Panem, leaving native children safe from the Games while ensuring that the Capitol could continue with their show of strength. This even allowed them to make the Games constant rather than yearly and bring back tributes that had died instead of losing them forever, upping the drama as non-native tributes had to deal with the fallout of their in-arena actions and live in a state of uncomfortable celebrity between deathmatches. As of current game time there's also a slowly-building native Panem resistance that some characters are becoming involved in.
How long was your character in Game: 4/13/2013 to present.
History of Character in their Game: Just for the sake of organization, I'm going to be dividing this into sections by arenas. Signless participated in arenas 06 through 09 -- you can find the full thread-tracker here if there's anything you would like to read for yourself. I apologize for the travesty that is the arena 07 googledoc.

Arena 09
Arena 09 took place in a natural history museum several floors in height. Unlike most arenas it was entirely indoors, and also featured masks that allowed temporary power regain when worn and several unique hazards (like a tar pit). For the first time, Signless ran for the Cornucopia instead of immediately slipping away, as part of his new approach to arenas. He wanted to both provide a more interesting show for those watching in the districts and he honestly didn't care if he died in the process, since if he was entertaining there was honestly a higher chance he'd be brought back for the next arena.
He mostly stayed on his own during the arena, moving around and trying to keep out of the line of sight of other tributes, though occasionally he would meet up with people he knew. Notably he ran into Kankri several weeks in and comforted him about growing tensions between him and his current survival ally, which led eventually to Kankri donning a mask and using his restored Seer powers to See Signless's life on Alternia. He also helped to patch up Marius, who he found bleeding and shellshocked after witnessing the death of another tribute who had attacked him. However, in the fourth week of the arena, he was dismembered by Justin Law in the bioluminescence exhibit. I'll be taking him from there -- he'll wake up in the Meadous instead of in the Capitol as usual.
How did they change from their canon personality wise (Please explain what caused it to happen?) The Signless has been through a lot, emotionally, since he arrived in Panem. Finding out about his future, his failure, and what happened to his family after his death was a blow to him. That blow also came at the same time as being wholly rejected by the Psiioniic, so he started off his time in the Games already feeling lost and guilty over what he perceived as having failed those he cared about and pretty much all the other trolls on Alternia, too. Having Karkat as a moirail helped immensely in keeping him from truly having problems because of it, and he was able to tell himself instead that just because he'd failed on Alternia -- which he'd always known was a possibility and been prepared for -- didn't mean he couldn't still believe in his own philosophy and try to practice it in Panem.
The longer things went on, though, the easier it became for him to lose sight of this. Continued strife with the Psiioniic, including a failed attempt a re-establishing their relationship as a blackrom, left him frustrated. Doing things he perceived as harmless, like responding to a hacked Rebellion message with the hope that no one on either side would have to be harmed, gained backlash that was more harmful than he anticipated (in that particular case the Disciple arrived not long after, prompting him to think that she had been brought in specifically so seeing her hurt would be a punishment for him).
He began to question his own beliefs and choices more and more and become more and more convinced that everything he'd ever done had meant nothing and helped no one, and while he tried to remain optimistic about it it stayed with him and always niggled at the back of his mind. This came to a head with the murder party plot, where he mercy-killed the Psiioniic to save him from suffering was then forced by the Initiate to kill Karkat as an equal exchange. Having set aside his own beliefs in order to do something he viewed as being justified as a compassionate act and then having it result in the brutal torture of someone he cared so deeply about, on top of his own tenuous faith, broke him emotionally. He violently rejected his own beliefs as being stupid and selfish (he'd tried to change Alternia to fit his Beforan-remembered conception of what trolls were supposed to be like, despite creating Alternia in the first place), and for quite a while was depressed and volatile because he believed himself to be completely trapped, without agency or anything to believe in. This was made even worse by the fact that he avoided talking about these feelings at length, believing that it would be seen as him continuing to just be selfish and self-absorbed and that it would drive away the people who cared for him.
Eventually, with the help of his close CR, he did manage to pull himself out of this toxic mindset. Especially helpful was seeing the people of District 12, who reminded him so strongly of the oppressed trolls back home, and realizing that there were people in Panem he could help rather than just misguided Capitolites who wanted to see him break. He could still believe the things he had believed before, even if acting on them in the way he was used to was impossible and potentially harmful.
At the time I'm taking him from he's still emotionally exhausted but opening back up again. He's a lot quieter about the things he believes than he was before arriving in Panem and trying a lot harder to self-police what he says, even if it's exceptionally frustrating for him. He's less confident in his own decisions and worries more about losing or hurting those he's close to. Basically, he's grown far more cautious and pessimistic; even if he still wants very much to help others and right wrongs, he knows now that he's very likely to fail and either make no difference or just make things worse, so he's got to be very careful with what he does and make his actions and words count. He's more likely to hold back than say something and risk causing someone harm who doesn't deserve it, and instead is looking to act on his beliefs in other ways, like learning to be a better contender in the Games so that the people of District 12 will have something to inspire them and give them hope of victory.
How did they change from their canon physically (Please explain what caused it to happen?): Nothing drastic -- every time a character is revived, they get 'reset' to what their physical state was upon arrival. The only change in Signless's appearance is that, at present, both his horns and teeth have been sharpened to points instead of nubs as part of Cinna's new 'aggressive' look for District 12.
Powers: None, either game-given or canon. Physically he's tougher than a human and has excellent night vision since trolls are nocturnal, but those aren't really powers.
Possessions: Mostly his Capitol clothing, including the silver ring Karkat gave him. A wooden cat the Disciple gave him. His white tribble.
Please provide three samples from your previous game, at least one will have to be third person with context:
Sample One: Signless meets the Summoner and it goes very badly.
Sample Two: Part of the murderparty, specifically the murder of Karkat as payback for the murder of the Psiioniic. The context for this is addressed in greater detail up in history.
Sample Three: Having a stylist meeting with Cinna post-murderparty.
